Vicky Reddish is an abstract artist all about sharing happiness, love, and joy with others. Her philosophy is simple: make stuff that makes you happy, and people will be happy too. Her love of color is evident in her work. Her art ignites a sense of fun, warmth, and personality that hopes to inspire and uplift.
Vicky uses acrylic paint, oil pastels and a variety of catalysts to create expressive, colorful works of art. She is passionate about capturing the emotion and complexity of a moment or a memory in her work.
I grew up in Middle Tennessee, and I am so proud of this place I call home. I feel connected to my Southern roots, but I'm very proud to live in a progressive city. I work full-time in marketing and enjoy creating art in much of my spare time.
I love to travel, and I am so fortunate I get to do so often. I find meeting new people and experiencing new things adds fuel to my creative fire. I am wildly passionate about color. I primarily work with acrylic paint, but I'm always trying new mediums and ideas.
I hope that when you see my work, you find a sense of calm, happiness, and lightness in your spirit. I hope you remember a moment that brought you deep joy and contentment. I hope its energy makes you happy, even for a moment.
In 2019, I made space in my home for a studio and began creating art regularly. In 2020, I fell completely in love and realized this was the dream I wanted to pursue.
Art is my great love, and I return to it over and over again, always looking for ways to grow and evolve in this space.
